WE ARE NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED
Thank you for 25 Wonderful Years in Aspen!
It's with a bittersweet feeling in my heart that I have to announce that after 25 years in the service industry, L'Hostaria Ristorante has closed its doors. It's been an amazing ride, full of marvelous adventures accompanied with great food and wine. I am honored to have served the Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley community for such a long time. I thank you all for your loyal support. . The restaurant business in Aspen has always been changing and evolving, but the last 18 months have brought a new level of stress that made me realize I need to step back and take care of my health and my families both here in the Colorado and in Italy. I am looking forward to spending more time with the people I love and hopefully take a very much needed real vacation. The last 25 years as a restaurateur have been filled with unforgettable memories. I made amazing friends and wonderful connections with people from all over the world. During the course of 25 years L'Hostaria has employed over 500 people. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of our current and past employees, we certainly couldn't have done it without your precious help. Each one of you has taught me something special that I will never forget. . I started the L'Hostaria adventure with Dante and Cristina Medri in 1996, when I was only 27 years old. I was a trained chef and spent most of my time in the kitchen, but when my wife and I bought them out in 2002, I had to reinvent myself and become the supervisor of the entire operation. It was scary at first, but the community embraced me and accepted me, and together we created the incredible restaurant that L'Hostaria has become. We will have a few events to celebrate the 25 years in business and the closing.
With humility, gratitude and sincerity.
